My roommate didn't pay her half, so we were late... I've had lots of problems with her, and it would really suck if I didn't get MY half of the deposit back because SHE was late getting the money to them.

My service is like this. The only way to get your deposit back from them is... If you are not late for the past 12 months just prior to ending your service or in the case of you moving to another location then the same applies. If you are in good standing at the end of that 12 month period then the company will normaly just send you a check or they will apply it to your bill depending on the amount of deposit and your normall monthly bill. Just call them and ask what their procedure is ??? If your name is on the bill you are soley responsible for it as well as your friend.. They don't care who didn't come up with the money.
