I'm 27, she's 20 and we've been introduced from mutual friends. We've been friends for the past three months but from the first time i had feelings for her. Even if she gives me the feeling that she wants me, everytime i tried to get closer to her (i.e. bought her a cd, invited her to my place etc) she gas getting 'cold' on me. Besides that, while we used to talk for hours over the net, while we used to spent so much time together, now we hardly see each other and i'm afraid that maybe she don't want me anymore. Is it too late for me to tell her that i want her? I am so shy everytime she's close to me, i don't even talk to her!!! And the worst part? we went to see a movie 1-2 hours ago and i heard her talking on the phone about another guy...

If you really are 2 weeks late for your period and your test showed negative you are probably not pregnant. I would take a second test just to be sure I did the test correctly and if that one was also negative you could be pretty certain that you are not pregnant. Then your next step should be to visit your doctor to find out why you are late if your cycle is normally regular. Also, if you were taking any medication for the yeast infection research the side effects of the medication to see if that may be cause the irregular cycle.

I was 6 weeks late before my test came back positive. I was already getting morning sickness, which doesn't usually start until around 6 weeks , when my test was finally positive. Maybe you should go get a blood test.

Go to your family doctor and they can do a blood test to determine if you are pregnant or not. It will give you peace of mind if you are not trying for a child right now, or the results will be the news of the year for you and your hubby if you are. Good luck either way.

I'm 2 mos late and have had 3 neg tests. My doc says it's probably do to stress or my weight loss. I would talk to the doc, and have them do a test in about 2 wks just to verify the neg results. In the mean time start taking vitamins w/ extra folic acid just in case.

So better to wait 30days to have pregnancy test again just to make sure, though there is a product that says in just 2weeks you may see the result if you are pregnant or not, better try that too...
You might have to wait a week or two longer, to start taking test again. During this period, take good care of yourself, you can even start taking prenatal vitamins.

If the test turns out negative, but you still have symptoms, you should go see your doctor.

I want to be an orthadontist or Physician. I am 15 years old and currently have a 3.0 GPA. I know I could possibly raise it to a 3.5 or maybe even a 4.0. I live near chicago. When I was in 9th grade I had a 2.9GPA. I was wondering If I still have a chance to be accepted to college to study and become either an orthadontist or Physician. I am not rich I am about an average person, money wise. Is it too late for me. Orthodontist or Physician totally depend on your grades in college because you don't get to med school until after 4 years of college. The CNA would give you a taste of the medical field and you could decide if that is where you really want to be, but will be irrelevant about getting into med school.
Your idea about summer cna is good. Any experience you have in the medical field will help you immensely (people like experience). It is definitely not too late to become anything you want. You will not get accepted right into a physician, orthodontist, degree... You will have to do a regular 4 year bachelors degree first. Your first 4 years in college will be much more important in determining your acceptance into med school (and that cna experience will help then). Your high school record will be important for your bachelors degree...your bachelors degree will be very important for your doctorate. Good grades are always the best bet
You have time to raise your gpa. Worse case scenario is that you initally go to community college and then transfer to a four year school. When you apply to med school, they won't see your high school grades. Your GPA is probably high enough to get into Northeastern Illinois U or Chicago State U.

Here at UIC, we have plenty of transfer students.
It is not usually too late to do anything if you want to do it badly enough. What I think you should do is contact the admissions departments of the schools you'd like to attend and ask what you would need in order to get accepted to each school. They should be able to give you requirements, and from there you can decide whether there is a way you can meet those requirements.

One question to ask of each college is whether or not that school has a program that is likely to get you accepted into medical school.

To the best of my understanding you need to attend a pre-med program in a four-year college first; and I think it would be from there that your performance will be judged by any medical schools.

I don't bellieve that 15 years of age is too old to decide to pursue the type of training you're asking about. I am not able to answer your question about becoming a CNA and/or working in a physician's office.

Money could be a factor, but there is usually financial aid for the person who doesn't mind having to pay back loans after graduating.

Colleges admit students based on several different things combined. A 3.0 GPS isn't bad, even if it isn't a 4.0. If you have solid SAT scores and some activities to list on your application for college you will most likely get into some four-year college, so I don't think getting into a college will be a problem. Whether or not you can get into a pre-med program is the thing each college can tell you.

In general, people who get to do what they would like when it comes to getting education or working in a profession they want to work in usually get to do that by finding out what the requirements are and meeting those requirements somehow.

I hate traffic jam. It seems like it is taking longer very day to get to work and to go home. It is just getting worse. A year ago it took me 35 minutes to get to work and now it takes me 50 minutes to 1 hour to get to work. It is driving me nuts. I guess it is due to the construction everywhere and the city population is growing rapidly. I have seen some aggressively drivers were speeding and illegally driving the wrong way trying to get to work on time. One driver cut in front of me without turning the signal on. I was close to an accident. I heard one man got fired from his job because he was late to work at least three times within 3 months period. That is scary. I normally leave my house at the right time to go to work. Some people don't. They drive crazy and worry about losing their jobs. They need to wake up earlier without being worried. I was five minutes late one time due to a bad accident on my way to work. I am hanging on okay right now.

Suzie, here's the drill. Traffic is not going away. People who are late because they get "caught" in traffic jams do so because they did not allow enough time for their commute. Bad drivers are a part of traffic. K well me and my friends got late onto this bus for a field trip and there was only one open seat left for me. And when i saw who i was sitting next too (it was this guy that everyone finds really really annoying and don't worry he didn't hear me cuz he was wearing earphones and listening to music) i was like oh **** damn it i don't want too sit here. THe girl i liked was sitting across from the seat i was about too take and she heard me say all that stuff and saw me looking really depresed. You very well could be pregnant since you are already 3/4 days late you should go to your nearest store and purchase a pregnancy test and take it (at the store if you have to)... Then tell you mom if it's possitiive... I know that she will flip but have her help you make the right choice for your family... I will forever regret that I didn't tell my mom and had no one to help me through the abortion I had and I will always regret having one (even though I was 17 at the time). However I know lots of people that have had abortions at 16,17, or 18 and don't regret it... It's truly a personal choice but one that shouldn't be made lightly and one that you should speak to one of your parents about.

There's really no fool-proof way to NOT get pregnant. There are lots of good birth control methods but nothing but abstinence is 100%. All it takes is one tiny little sperm to make his way to your egg.

Don't say anything to your mom until you know for sure. There's no reason to get her all flipped out if you're not pregnant. Buy a home pregnancy test. I saw them at the dollar store for cheap!
Just try to relax, hard I know, but the stress of thinking that you may be pregnant could be the reason behind your late period. Wait another week, and if your period still hasnt come do a test. You are right in thinking that your symptons can be related to menstruation, so there is no point in stressing yourself out about something that may not even happen. Probably not quite what you want to you here as you are probably terrified at the thought of being pregnant but support is out there if you need it. Just be patient for now, thats all you can do at this moment...good luck:)

I got pregnant when i was 15 because of the pull out method. My mom didn't know i was having sex either, and it was with my ex-boyfriend. I ended up haveing a abortion, but i regret it, it felt like it was the only thing i could do at the time and i feel really bad about the choice i made even though i was pushed into it.

Well I was three weeks late with my period.. it was supoosed to come on 8/14/07 and I started getting all sorts of pregnancy feelings like nausia...tiredness...bloated feeling..urinating a lot and eating way more, tender breasts...etc. so I took 2 tests which came back negative, so I thought I tested too soon.

Started bleeding lightly on 9/2/07 and got a little heavy then light and now stopped on 9/5/07 it has pretty much stopped. no blood clots the bleeding was a light red and then dark towards the end.

Ok, you did not say when the last day of your menstrual period was. .... Or, if you had sex when you could have gotten pregnant. If you count the 1st day of bleeding as day 1, you are most fertile the 13th, 14th and 15th day of your cycle. However, you cannot count on those days for several reasons (sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days/you may ovulate late or early). It's just the general rule to go by. Now, if you were late and bled and you got a negative test I would say it is unlikely that you are pregnant.... And may just be going through hormonal changes. It does not sound to me like implantation bleeding which happens about a week before your period is due.

If you are still feeling like something is a little bit off, take another test. If still negative I would try again around 9/15-9/18 being that your new cycle started on the 2nd.

I have had some bleeding with this pregnancy (up to 16 weeks!) and it never affected a pregnancy test (always came up +). To be super sure you can always go get a blood test which would be very accurate at this point.

Make sure the cage is big enough. 4sq feet per piggie. If you get another on make sure it's a female also. You need a place to keep it alone for a couple of weeks to make sure it's healthy and doesn't have parasites on it . Since the late payment happened a year ago, it is unlikely that the credit card company will remove it, or be able to remove it from your credit reports. However, that one late payment is unlikely to really affect your credit score very much, if your credit accounts are in good standing and you have a good income to debt ratio. It can't hurt to try calling and asking them to consider removing the charge. It might be annoying, but not painful.

There is so many reasons why that could be happening. (Stress maybe sick) I am now 2 months pregnant but we tested the first week and it came back negative each day. I would just wait a few more days and if still nothing maybe go see a doc :)
maybe give it a few more days and do a preg test again, it might not be showing the correct result yet. you could also be getting pregnancy symtoms cause ur head is playing tricks on you

Have you tested again since the first test? The brown discharge probably would not be implantation bleeding at this point, but you could still be pregnant. All I can advise is test again.

Go get another blood test. While more accurate they are NOT more sensitive than a urine test.
At 17 days late, chances are it wouldn't be implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding usually occurs either right before your period is due or at the time period is due.

Being a week late could mean different things to different people. If you are someone who gets their period like clockwork, then maybe you should take a pregnancy test later on just to be sure. Sometimes the pregnancy test aren't able to detect the hormones until weeks after you've missed your period, so if you haven't have your period yet then there is still a possibility that you are pregnant. I would retake a pregnancy test. If you gain a positive results, congradulations. WATCH what you eat and drink a lot of water. Too much coffee or alchol could cause implanation bleeding. Also, physical or emotional stress can cause bleeding.

If your test is still negative, you should do take a step back and look at your diet and lifestyle. What has changed? Either way go see your doctor!

We've had these for a while. They cost almost 4 times as much as an M1151HMMWV. The vehicle is also more difficult to produce than a M1151. There are also several patent issues, legal issues, and political issues with the vehicle. It is a South African design and there were "hurdles" to getting it past the leftists for our use. Actually getting almost anything past the leftists for defense is a hurdle. They vote for us before the vote against us.

The cost alone is prohibitive in replacing thousands of lighter vehicles. The Cougar is better than the M1151 for IED protection but weaker and less useful in other areas. The thing is huge and easy to spot as you pointed out. It is also a very tall vehicle and has some potential issues with bridge clearance (ever see a semi get stuck under a bridge?). There is also a ground pressure issue on soft sand. This is one of the many reasons the FCS is now tracked and not wheeled.

On the plus side, it is an easy vehicle to maintain and everything is accessible. The crew capsule is very well protected and also climate controlled. The transmission is a push-button automatic, so drivers' training is easy. Seats are nice too. No CD player, but hey, can't have everything.

There is also the Cougar 'lite' called the ILAV. It is a smaller, 4-wheeled Cougar that the Iraqis are fielding with our help. It should help them with the COIN fight and also reduce overall unit costs for the US Military. The ILAV and Cougar is not a front-line fighter in high intensity operations, but could survive if need be.

Bottom line is they are ONE solution out of the MANY we have. We are using all of the workable solutions we can and we are winning. Maybe if CNN, the AP, and the left in general stopped using file footage of the smoke coming from the power plant south of the IZ (calling it an IED) and started reporting, oh I don't know, the FACTs, maybe the world would see the Coalition and the Sovereign Iraqi Armed Forces are winning the terrorists war on us.

Maybe that is asking too much. That would mean the left needs to put aside its blind, destructive lust for power and actually do something good for once.

Actually, I would go get your estrogen and testosterones levels checked. Having an outbreak of acne like that is a sign that something has changed chemically in your body. GO see a Doc and ask his or her advice, be sure to tell them it hasn't always bee like this and they will probably know what to do. Otherwise I would say eat more veggies, less fatty foods. Get a Lufa sponge er however that's spelled. use a soft scrubbing soap...but you really need to quit abusing your face with those chemicals.

My memory is very faded but this is what I remember about it:

If you listen to the song "Teach your Children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, it talks about the parent child relationships and their importance. Something we don't see very often these days.

The second part that talks to the children says "teach your parents well". I think the song wants each generation to understand what each other is all about accounting for the generation gaps. The songwriters also points out that teaching each other will bring about change for the good in the world (possibly a social change). The song in my opinion spoke about unconditional love and peace in the family.

Before it is too late, get into their life and help them out with the small things that they need assistance for such as household chores, gardening, snow shoveling, groceries, taking them to mall etc. I mean, these are simple things that you could do to thank them for what they have done to you in your life. Many parents, especially in the previous generation sacrificed their life for us. Once you start making money, share a small amount with them that might help with their monthly maintenance. I tell you man, the satisfaction you get by helping them is fulfilling and absolutely priceless.
One thing for sure you need to forgive yourself.

It's never too late to improve the way you look dramatically. Also, straight teeth can greatly improve your health. If you don't want to be seen with braces, ask your orthodontist about Invisalign. It's a clear plastic mouthguard-type thing that's barely visible, but it takes longer than regular braces to straighten teeth. If he doesn't work with that, there are brackets out there that are white and not as easily noticed as metal ones.

No! You can never be too late for braces. Having braces will change your life for the better, especially after they come off and you have gorgeous teeth! If you are uncomfortable with metal braces, discuss with your orthodontist Invisalign, or getting ceramic braces. I have ceramic braces, and they are practically invisible from a distance and barely noticeable up close. They are not too much more expensive than metal braces, and may be worth it. Good luck :)

Also, ask you're orthodontist if he or she offers lingual braces. Those are the kind of braces that go behind the teeth. They are also referred to as invisible braces, because no one can see them unless they actually look inside you're mouth. Although, they may take longer to straighten you're teeth compared to traditional braces.

You can be pregnant the birth control is not 100 percent safe i got pregnant off of the depo so anything is possible. you might of taken the test to early. so give it a few more days if you don't start call your Dr to get checked out.
It is probably just stress. I am hoping that you are still on the pill? If not, then you must know that "pulling out" is not a good way to prevent pregnancy. Take another test in a week or so and use the urine from the first thing in the morning. That is when the hormones are strongest. Congratulations on your graduation! Stress can always change your menstral cycle. Most early pregnancy tests can not show results until you are at least 3 weeks pregnant. It is possible to get a false negative. I have 5 friends who were all on BC pills when they became pregnant. If you don't get it within a week test again. If you want to be absolutely sure have the doctor do a blood test. It sounds like stress to me. I say that because I have had late periods when I have been under a lot of stress. If you done come on with in a week to ten days then go to your GP, there are test they can do for you.

Some passports have taken up to 3 months, but the rush should be over. There was a big crunch for sommer vacations. September should be fine. If you pay a little extra you can still get it in less than 10 business days.

It could just be serious amounts of stress. I had a late period that was just attributed to stress, maybe once you get relaxed it might come, but if you are really worried take a home pregnancy test and consult your doc.
So I'm 3 mouths late and I have not had sex.I had sex 5 month a go but that is it.

I'm not trying to ask a stupid "am i pregnant" question just before I take a test (which I am going to) I would like to know if anyone else had symptoms like this.

My period is now about 5 to 6 days late and the past few days I keep feeling like I got my period but I go to the bathroom and it's not there. I get a clear/kind of white discharge. I also am getting slight cramping, more like a slight "butterflys in my stomach" feeling in my lower abdomen.

Also it is very likely I could be pregnant as I am ttc.

However all women are different so you really need to go take that test to find out for sure. Come to think of it, I did have a weird sensation going on in my uterus area when I was about 4-5 weeks.

My 7 year old's school is very strict. They have outside morning announcements every morning but if the child is not in line when the bell rings it counts as a tardy. I have had her barely getting to school when the bell rings many times but did not think it was a big deal since she was there on time and wasn't late to class. Due to this they sent someone to my home several times to verify my address and I never answered. They wanted to throw her out of school unless I could prove my address so I gave them recent copies of my utility bills and driver's license. She was allowed to stay in school but they told me they already set a court date for me. This is crazy cause it's not like she's getting to class late, just not in her line on time. Is there any way I can get out of this besides a lawyer? All they are going to do in court is make me sign something saying she can't be late again.

if the school says she is late then she is late. Where do you live? It all depends on the county/school district/state.
If she is required to be there at a certain she needs to be there at a certain time. It doesn't matter what you think is acceptable. Most jurisdictions look at is as parental neglect if your kids are habitually late or absent to school. Go in front of the judge, explain your circumstances and agree she will never be late again. Be prepared for consequences if you cannot live up to that agreement.

I don't know the laws in your state, but in the state of Indiana, it is a crime to not have your child to school on a regular basis and on time.

The issue you are having is the tardiness.... the "class start time" that you are refering to is the "Tardy Bell" -- the Morning announcements start only after the school's start time

When I am under a lot of stress I will skip my period all together. Take a test to make sure, but its probably just your stress. Anyways, if its only been11 days since sex, you wouldn't be experiencing so many symptoms.

You ovulate about 14 days before your period (if you have a normal 28 day cycle), and so there is a very little chance that you could get pregnant the day before you are supposed to get your period. I got pregnant the day before my period was due. On another note stress and things you eat can make u late. From my own experience medications containing opiates such as percocet and oxycotin have delayed my period. Just get tested sooner the better.

Sounds like my case which is still going on. Look up the state statutes in your state and find the landlord/tenant rules. Most states say the landlord has to give a written list of deductions /damages with balance of security deposit within 30 days. If you have pics, that will help a lot. By most laws, if a request for a signed contract is stated, they must give you a copy. What I have done so far was went and bought the book "Everybody's Guide to Small Claims Court." In there is lists many facts that will help you. You will probably end up taking him to small claims court. If he did not give you a list of deductions and you fullfilled your tenancy requirements, the judge will rule in your favor. Make sure to send a couple of demand letters certified mail as well. Depends where you are but in Canada you get the deposit back plus interest on it. Unless your landlord can produce some kind of proof that you were warned about lateness of payment then you may have a case in renter's tribunal or small claims court. Often the deposit will be one months rent so you pay for the first and last month at the beginning. Thus, many people just don't pay the last months rent and use the depsoit to cover it.

you should have gotten a copy of the lease when you signed it, first of all. second did you have late payments? if so then you may have been charged interest on those and they would have been taken out of your deposit, this would have been in the lease, did you read it before you signed it? Also before you can take it to small claims court about the damages done before you lived there , do you have proof that you didn't cause the damages, did you inform the land lord about the damage when you noticed it when you were inspecting prior to moving in? If not then you will most likely be held responsible for the damages. I wish i could have given better news to you about all of this, you will just have to take a lesson from this, take pictures prior to moving into a place, always read your leases, and always get a copy of any lease signed. Creeps get favored in many places. A true slumlord knows how hard it is to get a deposit back. You cannot recovery legal fees in a lawsuit and they will be more than the deposit. You can try the BBB but a butthole is a butthole and a good butthole knows how to screw poeple. Good Luck
They can keep your deposit if you have an outstanding balance, Did you read your lease before you signed it? If so in the lease it should state what the late fees are and when the rent is late. (They can only charge so much a month... I am in Texas and the max late fees per month is $165). As far as the damages goes... ask to see pictures. If they do not have pictures they can not prove that you did have damages. In that case you would have a good case in small clams court!

Definitely can still be filed.

Did you owe tax the year before that? If so, then you ARE late with your filing. Otherwise, you were probably exempt from filing, if you KNOW that you owed nothing in 2000 and 2001.

However, if you were not exempt from filing, you might have to pay penalties, even if you are refund-eligible.

Safest thing to do would be Turbo Tax (you can purchase past years for download) or H %26amp; R Block - just to be sure.

Realize its all a part of growing up and being responsible. Other than that, stay on the same time schedule for going to bed and waking up seven days a week. If you are staying up late and sleeping in on the weekends, you're not allowing your body to set it's on enternal alarm clock.

Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you HAVE to get up to turn it off. Once your out of bed it'll be easier to stay there. This has worked for me for years.
buy one of those really loud obnoxious wind up big-ben type alarm clocks and set it ALL the way on the other end of the room from your bed.....

these things are LOUD...with a capital LOUD!!! you will have to get up out of bed to turn it off......then, make sure you stay up !!!!!

I had this problem, First don't make obligations at some unreasonlaby early hour, you won't make it, second set you're alarm clock way ahead so you can hit the snooze button alot.

My alarm is set and hour and 20 min before work Mon-Fri and i hit the snooze every ten min before i wake up

If I have to get up early I usually set two alarms and have one near my bed and the other across the room so I have to get up to turn if off.

I have the same problem....the only solution is to be hypnotized.

Hypnosis is simply planting an idea deep in your subconscious, which is what you are trying to acheive with all the tricks you've tried (you are trying to find that motivating circumstance or device that will get you up and motivated to stay up).
Move your alarm clock to the far side of the room. If you have to get out of bed and walk over to turn it off you've got a fighting chance to stay awake.
My man has his alarm on the other side of the room so he has to get out of bed to turn it off. It works every morning.

I keep the alarm clock as far away from me as possible and when it goes off take the blankets off and turn on the lights

focus! it's a willpower thing. you can do it if you really want to. treat yourself when you're on time.
Have two alarm clocks. one a regular plug in clock and the other a wind up clock and put them across the room away from where you sleep. use the wind up clock as a back up in case the power would go out for some reason. set the clocks for at least an hour and 30 mintues before you have to be to work. when they go off get up turn them off and stay up
Yeah I'm the same way, you should set your self a schedule so that you can remind yourself to get ready like 2 hours or and hour before you leave , it try 3 hours take a shower get your clothes ready do your hair makeup or whatever. so you can have time to chill befor you put your clothes on and leave out the door, so all you will have to do is throw your clothes on and shoes and walk out the door, this works for me Good luck, God bless. As you plan your day, give yourself 15-25% extra time to get to where you need to get to. For example, if it takes you 60 minutes to get to work, plan as if it takes you 70-75 minutes. Keep that in your mind as you wake up, as you never know what bus you'll miss, what traffic jam you'll be in, or what time you will leave your house. I'm the same way. If you think it really *IS* 70-75 minutes to get to your job, you'll most likely get there on time, if not on the rare occassion early.
Aside from all of the other advice, you should make a daily routine related to sleeping. For example, an hour before you sleep, you start doing this or that (e.g reading a book, watching tv, etc.) to help you relax before you sleep, signalling to your body that you're going to sleep. Make sure that as much as possible this is consistently the same time, even on weekends. The same for the time you wake up. If you sleep in on weekends, you'll throw off your body clock again and be late again on Monday.

I should know, I always sleep in on weekends. =p
